Your Mindset is your reality

You usually decide how something is going to go before it even starts.
And a lot of people lose before they even give themselves a real chance.

The idea that if you believe something is going to happen, you start doing things that make that outcome more likely, even subconsciously.

I truly believe in speaking things into existence. And that goes both ways.

If you are telling yourself “there’s no way” or “that’s not happening,” I can almost guarantee it won’t.

I’ve seen it in small things too. Whether it’s going into a conversation, a project, or even just a day with a certain mindset, the result usually follows.

This is something I’ve always believed, even before I had a name for it.

And honestly, you can see this play out everywhere.

There’s a lot of uncertainty.

Markets shift, companies adjust, people hesitate, and it’s easy to fall into a mindset of playing it safe or assuming things won’t work out.

And that mindset shows.

If you go into something expecting it to fail, you hesitate. You overthink. You hold back.

And more often than not, you get exactly what you expected.

But when you expect it to work, you show up differently.

You take action. You follow through. You stay consistent longer.

That’s where delusional optimism comes in.

It’s the idea of believing something will work out before you have any real proof.
Not because you know it will, but because choosing to believe it changes how you show up.

Not blind confidence. Not ignoring reality. But choosing to believe something will work, even when it’s uncertain.

Because the alternative usually works against you.

If you assume something won’t work, you either don’t try or you don’t give it a real effort. And that almost guarantees the result.

I’ve always leaned optimistic, and I believe that plays a bigger role than people think.

Especially right now.

When things feel unpredictable, mindset becomes a bigger factor.

Two people can be in the same situation, with the same opportunities, and get completely different results based on how they approach it.

One hesitates. One leans in.

One waits for certainty. One acts without having it.

I’d rather be the one who acts.

Even if it feels a little unrealistic at times.

Because more often than not, that’s what separates people who move forward from the ones who stay stuck.
